The Adult Buddy Bench is curved in shape to provide a safe and appealing space in the playground or outdoor area for people to interact, especially outside their usual friendship groups, regardless of gender, race or special educational needs. The curve design makes conversations easier and encourages non-verbal communication such as eye contact and positive body language for those who struggle to form relationships easily.
